In high-risk environments like industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, and oil & gas fields, immediate and effective emergency response is critical. This comprehensive course is designed to equip industrial personnel with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills required to recognize, assess, and manage life-threatening emergencies until professional medical help arrives.

Learning Objectives

  • Emergency Scene Assessment: Safely evaluating high-risk industrial environments, identifying toxic hazards, and managing universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens.

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Performing high-quality CPR on adults experiencing sudden cardiac arrest due to asphyxiation, electrocution, or severe physical exertion.

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED): Understanding the rapid and safe deployment of an AED in a workplace setting.

  • Choking & Airway Management: Identifying and clearing partial or full airway obstructions.

  • Trauma & Environmental Emergencies: Specialized first aid intervention for conditions common to industrial worksites:

    • Severe hemorrhage control (Direct pressure and tourniquet deployment).

    • Shock management.

    • Chemical, thermal, and electrical burns.

    • Fractures, dislocations, and head/neck trauma.

    • Inhaled poisons (carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, chemical fumes) and confined space awareness.
